Meet The Team
Dr Vine has 12+ years of experience in health care. He has experience as an NHS general practitioner and has completed a Masters level diploma in Integrative Medicine from NCIM.
His interests lie in mental health (anxiety, depression, stress), chronic pain, endometriosis, chronic fatigue, autoimmune conditions, palliative medicine and optimal ageing.
His medical career began in Pakistan. Since then, he has worked in the Republic of Ireland and Australia and completed internships in the United States and New Zealand before moving to the UK, where he has been part of the NHS for the last seven years. This global exposure taught him an understanding of healthcare disparities and limitations, particularly in managing chronic conditions. Driven by a desire to expand his knowledge and offer more comprehensive care, he joined the National College of Integrative Medicine (NCIM) diploma. The concept of merging conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies and lifestyle interventions resonated with his experience and desire to help patients achieve optimal health.
He is thrilled to have completed the rigorous two-year diploma program at NCIM. He is now eager to offer patients a holistic approach to well-being, empowering them to take charge of their health through personalised interventions and evidence-based care. He is exploring further learning in homeopathy and western herbal medicine.
He continues to work as an NHS general practitioner and lives in Cardiff with his wife and two daughters. He has a keen interest in edible plants and planetary health and is a Permaculture enthusiast.
